Directions:
1 Package of Tortilla Dry Soup Mix
5 cups water
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
or replace tomatoes with 1 cup water.
Whisk soup mix into water and tomatoes
Bring to boil, stirring often
Reduce Heat and simmer for 15 minutes
Variations: 1 (10 oz.) can of chicken, 1 cup crushed tortilla chips, 1 can Black Beans or Corn. Thinner soup, add less tortilla chips, thicker soup, add more tortilla chips.
Garnish with grated cheese, lime and tortilla strips.
