🌾 Howell’s Mercantile Return Policy
We want you to love every item you take home from Howell’s Mercantile. If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help make it right.
💛 Returns & Exchanges
You’re welcome to return or exchange most items within 30 days of your purchase. To qualify, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.
Please note that a few items can’t be returned, including:

Perishable goods (like food or flowers)

Personal or sanitary items

Hazardous materials or flammable liquids

Gift cards and digital downloads

Certain health or personal care products

🧾 How to Start a Return
Please email us at support@howellsmercantile.com with your order number and a quick note about the issue.
You can then mail your return to:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. (If your item arrived damaged or defective, we’ll cover it, of course.)
💵 Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll send an email to let you know we’ve received it and whether your refund has been approved. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within a few business days.
If you don’t see your refund right away, please check with your bank or credit card company — it can take a little time for the transaction to appear.
🎁 Gifts
If your item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, we’ll issue a gift credit once your return is received.
If the gift wasn’t marked as such, we’ll send the refund to the original purchaser.
❤️ Sale Items
Sale and clearance items are final sale and cannot be refunded.
📦 Exchanges
Need to exchange something? If your item was defective or damaged, we’ll be glad to send a replacement. Just email support@howellsmercantile.com and we’ll take care of you.
